tools

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Strawberries:
In a bowl, toss the sliced strawberries with the 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar if you choose to macerate them. Let them sit for about 15-20 minutes to release their juices.
2. Make the Chai Spiced Mascarpone Cream:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground cardamom, ground cloves, and ground nutmeg.
Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat the mixture until smooth and well combined.
In a separate bowl, whip the cold heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated. Be careful not to overmix to maintain a light and airy texture.
3. Assemble the Dessert:
In individual serving glasses or a large trifle dish, start with a layer of the chai spiced mascarpone cream.
Add a layer of sliced strawberries.
Sprinkle a layer of chopped pistachios.
Repeat the layers until you reach the top of the glass or dish, finishing with a layer of the mascarpone cream.
4. Garnish and Chill:
Sprinkle additional chopped pistachios and a few strawberry slices on top for garnish.
If desired, add fresh mint leaves for an extra touch of color and flavor.
Chill the layered dessert in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.

Storage:

Store any leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
